I feel the same way about the Leia dolls. There have been so many over the years but none of them quite captured that indefinable "something" that Carrie Fisher brought to the role. I bought most of them, including the original Kenner doll and the later 90s Hasbro one, but they were all missing something.
Like you, I'm a huge Star Wars fan. I think the year the original movie came out, I saw it six or seven times, including the day it rained when my family was at the beach!
These days, I'm more of a Star Trek fan, but there is something about "Empire Strikes Back" that will make me stop and watch it each time it's on. Back then, every girl I knew was crushing on either Mark Hamill or Harrison Ford. Me? I was more of a Lando girl. He was, indeed, a scoundrel!
