In The Pink

She's very pretty and I love the hat box.
The weather is horrible here in PA (rain, snow, sleet, freezing rain, you name it) and I'm working on more banner photos today. In the process, I stumbled across this lady that hasn't seen the light of day in a long time....
In 1995, the After 5 Barbie Club of Minnesota held a "long weekend" style of convention to celebrate the then-recent opening of the Mall of America in 1992. Their doll "Barbie's Mall Mania" was actually a Teresa doll dressed in a pink version of the vintage fashion, After 5 to tie in with their club name.
This event had fairly wide spread support but not many of the dolls seemed to remain intact after a few years. This was probably due to bad glue and quick construction.
My doll has survived pretty well, though the glue on her custom ribbon came undone and needs to be reattached so it can wrap around the box once again.
