I know that the "shopping cart" system is powered by different systems than the chat boards and exclusive member content. That said, it's all integrated and it can and should work together - at least if you hire good programmers. I see my husband and his co-workers do it all the time. But Mattel cheaps out or gets interns to do it or whatever and now? I can't log in to read the boards (not that I'm in dire need - it's just annoying) and it's becoming increasingly more apparent that they just don't care. At all. And I refuse to call just to have someone reading out of a notebook tell me to clear my cookies. If Mattel hired capable programmers and web hosting systems? That wouldn't be necessary. I am just about ready to give up, and that's coming from someone who has tolerated Mattel's growing pains and stood by them all of these years. I'm about ready to say - no more.
