In The Pink

She's very pretty. Hard to say if she's had "help" in her process.
While the reroot came from a doll show, this one has more mysterious origins. A few years ago, my friend bought a big collection that belonged to a collector in another state who passed away. We knew her from the Barbie and Kelly conventions. She loved to make dioramas and had tons of dolls, miniatures, and accessories. She frequently went to flea markets and garage sales so she had many dolls with the wrong heads on the wrong bodies.
My friend asked my help in pricing the vintage and mod dolls. This Julia head was on a 1980s body. Her hair is original, but, given her origins, I don't know if the oxidation has been hurried along by any artificial means. I HAVE noticed that it seems to get brighter when she's in a warm environment. I'm hoping she'll eventually go yellow, though this color is cool too.
