We've been busy with the new album. So far eight tracks are completed and mastered! Which is why we haven't pursued the Whisky. We are trying to beat deadlines for the release of the first single which is slated for a Halloween release. You've heard us play the song at our shows....MONSTERS....
No, we never used any studio musicians on our albums other than Steve Bartek who played flute on Rainy Day Mushroom Pillow, which he co-wrote with me, and The World's On Fire. Both of which are on our first album. At the time Steve was only 15 years old and when asked to join the band his parent's permission was not forthcoming.
Now he's not only in the band but he's our producer!
Oddly enough, earlier this month on July 3rd I played in a Beach Boys tribute show with Don Randi. I played ukulele on Help Me Rhonda and bass on California Girls and others. The show was in rehearsals well before the untimely death of Brian Wilson. We weren't even sure the show would still go on. But the Wilson family insisted that the show must go on! It wasn't a tribute band it was more real than Mike Love's BB's band.Hear is a partial line up;

My questions of the week.
I just got done reading Michael Stuart-Ware's book on Love in which the record company had the "wrecking crew" assist with their album "Forever Changes".(As you know, Brian Wilson also enlisted their services).
I assume SAC never had to utilize their services?
Lastly, any plans for another show at the Whisky?
(gotta keep my attendance record intact!)
