Well, we have completed a few new tracks. And there are a couple we want to change a bit.
Here are some titles;
INCENSE AND PEPPERMINTS -
finished.
ED KING - GUITAR
MARK WEITZ - ORGAN AND PIANO
GENE GUNNELS - DRUMS COWBELL
RANDY SEOL - VOCALS
GREG MUNFORD - LEAD VOCAL
GEORGE BUNNELL - BASS
HOWIE ANDERSON - VOCALS
PRODUCED BY KEN ROBERTS
(We may remix it.)
MONSTERS and I'M NOT THE ONE
(need some tweaking)
BLOW YOUR MIND - finished
LIVE WATER - finished
So that's five tracks that are nearly ready to print. I guess it's an EP?
We had been rehearsing and writing on a semi regular basis but we got somewhat derailed. Randy had a place to stay up here but that went away. Gene used to stay at Mark's house which is where we rehearsed but he sold it and moved with his girlfriend to smaller place that doesn't allow band rehearsals. Steve Bartek had to bow out of the band although he still does most of our gigs. But us recording at his house came to an end. Anyway that's why we got off track. You see, Randy lives in Mexico and Gene lives in Vegas. My house became the rehearsal and bunkhouse for the last couple of gigs but I can't inconvenience my wife too much which is the same story all around. Add to that the pandemic and there you have it.

Hi George,
Where are you fellows now, in the creation of a new SAC CD? Previous Message
Obscurity!
Probably a blessing, eh?
Of course in the UK we're quite obscure...we never got to tour abroad which is probably the reason. We had a Euro tour ready when we were busted in Peoria, Ill. on a trumped up drug charge. That tour and some major TV shows were cancelled. It basically cut us off at the legs. Maybe another blessing?
But THANK YOU David!!! Previous Message
They got back to me, saying that they would certainly publish a text on the Byrds (one of two other bands I asked about), but not the Clock or Left Banke, because they thought they were too obscure. However, they entertained the thought of including the latter two in a more general book on 1960's rock. Previous Message
There are a series of books, entitled “On Track,” by various authors, recently released by Sonicbond Publishing in the U.K. Therein they examine the oeuvre of numerous rock entities. I have their “The Moody Blues: Every album, every song” by Geoffrey Feakes. I took the liberty of contacting them, enquiring if they might consider publishing a title covering the SAC canon.
