Mark was first influenced by the Seeds and then the Doors. But Birdman was a kind of parody of the Seeds organ style....they both used a Farfisa organ. Mark eventually switched over to the Vox Continental and then Hammond B3.

Was Mark Weitz's trippy church organ solo on "Alkatrash" by any chance inspired by Day Manzarek's signature style solo heard on "Take it as it Comes"......or were a lot of psych artists basically burning through essentially the same changes?
