I have a few boxes of old vinyls. But, I was not much of a collector. I couldn't really afford to buy them. I used to get bargain basement deals and two for one, etc. Sometimes they were records I didn't really care about. Some of them were my parents stuff. I had Herb Alpert records, Sergio Mendez, Joni James, Damn Yankees soundtrack, West Side Story, Connie Francis, all sorts of weird stuff.
My next door neighbor, Steve Bartek had the cool records. I did have the first Beatles album and a Letterman album. I also had Stravinsky and some other oddities.
I never had an eight track player.

Were you guys the type who had EVERYTHING by EVERYONE in vinyl?Like EVERY Stones,Dylan,Yardbirds,Kinks, and maybe every Herman's Hermits in vinyl?Had a few friends like this who were sort of 70's hipsters who felt compelled to go out and get anything that had at least two of three songs they liked?Did you have many eight tracks?
