In the wake of studio process innovations initiated by Pet Sounds and Sgt Pepper, did SAC also delve into the practice of what was referred to as "playing the studio. Also,I recently asked John Sebastian what he played at the beginning of She's a Mystery to Me and he said it was a Marxophone, which plays like a tiny piano with a mandolin sound. Are there any particularly exotic instruments in your records I may have missed?
