Neil Young is a good example of a guy that likes to be part of a band until he doesn't. At which point he wants to call the shots and just goes solo. Or, he goes to his fall back band Crazy Horse where he can have his cake and eat it too.

I've often felt if I had been a 60's rock star,I would rather have been Bob Dylan than one of the Beatles cause I'd only be accountable for my own actions with the press and media and I wouldn't have ideas shot down by other hand members or have to do something I didn't really want to do because of being outvoted by the rest of the group.Have you ever found many of your musical or professional aspirations to be sort of "lost" to group conscience?
