WOW! Thanks Byron...cool story!
I heard this beautiful song hundreds of times ... and more than half a century later it still sounds fresh. Your group hit the jackpot with this number.
In 1967 I was starting out as a DJ at a small radio station in New Brunswick, Canada and our "music director" [an aging technician] didn't think the 45 should be on our playlist. We told him that he was full of shit, and we took the record from the garbage can and played it over and over again. The audience loved it. They still do.
I am now a news reporter, have been for 35 years. But I remember the song so well. I just saw an interview with Randy Seol and he comes across as a man who had great parents. Well spoken and thoughtful.
Good job, all of you.
