The other guys in the band didn't want him playing bass anymore so he was made our road manager...he still got his equal cut.
Then he started carrying around a revolver and on at least one occasion he made it visible to a Nun at a Catholic girls school we played at when she asked if they could pay us after the show. Our contracts stated that we be paid prior to performance. That was kind of the last straw. The band voted him off the island completely. Not the best move as it was a breach of contract and he sued us and won.
I think he opened up a liquor store with his windfall.
Nowadays he lives in Arizona and owns a company called Arizona Gun Runners. They provide firearms for law enforcement, I believe.
None of the band members stayed in touch with him....They had disdain for him. (even before I was in the band)
He did appear on this board a few times several years ago. I think I'm the only one who would chat with him.
