HA!
Well Randy wrote those lyrics - I helped with a couple rhymes...Bartek wrote the music and I added a couple of parts...can't take much credit here, but I remember Randy was writing about our new found success and the feeling of being on top of the world....even farther away....sitting on a star looking down to earth..."and to see where you are". We were literally wearing clothes of laced velvet. It was about excess but it was an assessment not so much an ego trip, but a trip of another sort.

: What exactly was the inspiration for the
: celestial evocations purveyed in
: "Sitting On A Star"?I recenlty
: purchased "Wake Up,It's Tomorrow"
: on CD and I've been paying particular
: attention this,"Nightmare of
: Percussion" and "Curse of the
: Witches".Wonderful examples of true
: 1960's psychedelia.I love the rather ominous
: voice over featured on
: "Nightmare".Until now,your first
: LP was already one of my all time faves, but
: now I think I would place "Wake
: Up" even higher up on my list.Very
: nicely done!
