I was a fan of a number of Folk acts and a lot of Folk songs. I liked PP&M's vocal sound, and my first group in Jr. High was me, Verne Willis, and Nancy Burba covering PP&M songs, among others. That group grew to 5 members and became the Beauchemins, signed to Bob Keane's Mustang label and urged into a Folk Rock setting. I was more a fan of the music than the politics, although I was sympathetic to some aspects of the movement. I liked when Dylan moved away from politics in his songs in favor of a more personal expression, on Another Side Of Bob Dylan.
