I really didn't know what to think of Alice Cooper when we played with them at the Whiskey….I was more enthralled by Ten Years After and CTA.
The R&R HOF is either too late or too early in many of it's members….I frankly don't know what to think about their criteria either. Like, I have always liked progressive rock bands….many of which were inspired by the Yardbirds, Led Zep and the Who, but the reluctance to include Rush or bands like them is beyond me.
There should have been a mass induction when the HOF started.
There are so many overlooked acts…they'll never catch up at this rate….the result will be overlooked greatness….and make the HOF not credible.
CTA, Donovan and the Moodys….are you kidding…those are huge influences and they were all influenced by great artists before them….
