I stayed quite close with Dewey Martin after that. In fact I talked to Dewey for about a half hour on the phone the day before he passed away.
I've chatted briefly with Jim Messina and Richie Furay on Facebook. Lee Freeman and I did several shows with Dewey and Bruce Palmer in the late 80's and aery 90's.
Lee and I also did an art show at the director's guild with Stephen Stills. And then of course, Ed King is a co-writer of Sweet Home Alabama which mentions Neil Young....they later played a show together in San Diego I believe.
We actually did two tours with BS. The first was the Beach Boys 1968 Thanksgiving tour.
