the many mystics of the era were at once full of themselves and earnestly seeking out some sort of truth. Many who's egos allowed them to create their own religions, churches and followers are the ones that history remembers. But, there were many who kept a lower profile and held themselves to a higher standard. The genuine self proclaimed prophets of the times.

the SAC's foray into transcendental meditation was superficial. It was, in a way, forced upon us and the Buffalo Springfield while touring with the Beach Boys.

Don't get me wrong, I am not dismissing the powers of Eastern religion and meditation, only our brief encounter with it.
It was half hearted at best.

John Lennon was as lame lyrically as he was brilliant....dare I say!

...but I loved him nonetheless

His great lesson to us all was to keep it simple....easier said than done.
