new wave/punk/nerd/geek/dance/ska/80's rock band.
Dennis Dragon actually lived with Jim/Roger McGuinn in 1969-70 in Malibu. Bartek and I recorded several songs at the studio Denny had there....Denny played drums on them...and I have no idea where those mixed tapes are...actually I do have a 1"
reel of tape....it was recorded on an Ampex 4 track...but I'm afraid the tape is not in the best of shape....like ruined...?
We're still out of sorts about Tulin....a total reality check....the old..."life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans" bit.
It put a bit of a damper on our progress with the new SAC stuff....but were starting to get back on track now.

: Recently acquired ''Anthology'' CD by Oingo
: Boingo. In it Steve Bartek does a lovely
: job with horn arrangements, producing,
: handling guitars and rhythm vocals.
:
: Mark Tulin's passing is most unfortunate. I
: have the Electric Prune's ''Long Day's
: Flight'' compilation on vinyl, as well as
: ''Mass in F Minor'' on CD. Both are stellar
:
examples of the psychedelia marking the
: spirit of their time.
:
: Yes, Dennis Dragon (if that's the same one
: I'm thinking of; and brother of Daryl) was a
: temporary Byrds drummer (not Daryl, as some
: books say) back in the early 70's.
