Sidney Lanier Bridge Closing Today

GEORGIA: Those of you in Glynn County--- GDOT says the Sidney Lanier is closing today due to safety reasons with Dorian approaching.

Saw a story on the news this morning about a group of boaters in the Dade/Miami area helping their fellow man in the Bahamas. Miami/Dade residents have been preparing for Dorian for about a week now - stocking up on non-perishables, propane, water, flashlights, diapers, baby food and formula, etc. - all which they no longer need. This group of boaters has set up sites at several marinas in the area and are asking people to bring their hurricane supplies to them. They will then form a boat caravan to the Bahamas to deliver the supplies. Humanity at it's finest!

Carnival Cruise Lines needs to dispatch a cruise liner to help out those people. Look at the money they make off the Bahamas every year
