Re: My Traditional Yearly Easter Post
Glad somebody was able to sleep in but getting up early today was worth it plus 4 (# of grandchildren -
.) Re-Tired, I feel very fortunate. I had my second shot on March 24 and had no Covid-like symptoms or side-effects from either of my 2 shots. I had the Moderna vaccine. I'll share this for those who have not had theirs yet. I made a comment to the nurse who gave me my second shot that I hoped I did not have any reactions to it (the 2nd one) like a lot of family and friends had. She told me she could not guarantte me that it would work but told me to take two Tylenol or Advil when I got home and drink lots of water for the rest of the day and then when I went to bed to take two more Tylenol or Advil (I had the shot at 12:30 PM) and I might be able to get ahead of any reactions. I did exactly as she instructed, drinking 4 large glasses of water spread out over a period of 8 hours or so. Don't know if that is what got me through with absolutely no after effects but all I experienced with both shots was a sore arm. Lucky me! I remember you said you and your wife had the one-time Pfizer shot with no side-effects. Lucky you!
