It’s sure to be a table-pleaser!
~ 5 squirrels, cut up
~ 1 bottle of your favorite barbecue sauce
~ 1 – 2 tbsp honey
~ 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
~ 4 Potato Rolls
~ 10 sliced pickle chips
Boil the squirrels until meat starts to fall off
the bone, about 2 hours.
Remove and allow to cool.
Pull the meat from the bones and shred into
In a large pan, mix the sauce, honey and cayenne
together over low heat. Add the meat and stir
well. Heat through.
Serve on potato rolls (try toasting with a little
bit of garlic and butter first!).
