Yes, I agree, otoepony. He does look like he'd fit right in at a rodeo. 
That's the thing I've always thought about JN: he always looks like he's wearing his normal clothes, no matter where or when the setting for a role is. Whether he's wearing surgeon's scrubs or a Regency gentleman's suit or an orange prisoner's jumpsuit, he is never wearing a "costume."
