I know what you mean about the early TV roles, Jules. He's always adorable, but you can see he's still learning how to act in front of a camera. His theater work would have been a stronger training ground, as you say. Those few stills we have from the early theater productions are tantalizing! We need a time machine to take us back to those days and see what we missed.
