I haven't seen the Lizzie Bennet Diaries, but I liked Emma Approved. I thought it made very good use of the video diary format. It was well written, and I thought the acting was indeed excellent. Their Mr (Alex) Knightley was terrific. I think his performance owes more than a little something to JN's Mr K, however. Nice to see him get a shout-out.

My main disappointment with the series is that Mr Woodhouse, though often mentioned, never appears.
