Very interesting to read someone's reaction to just the screenplay--before the actors, director, editors, etc. brought it to life on the screen. Scripts, unlike novels, aren't really meant to be read on their own, so it's a unique perspective to have someone judge a movie on the basis of its script. I like that the author of the review is fully aware of that fact, and makes allowances for what the screenplay could become once it turns into a movie.
