Talking about Burnham "It matters not whether he's an Evertonian, or an Old Etonian"

Which was quite good, I thought.

It’s a good sound bite but I would suggest not being an Old Etonian* is a good thing

*A team that hasn’t won the cup more recently than us

You live and work in England yet attend a party conference that despises the English.
Spread sheets is it, I’m smelling hypocrite here.
Ive heard the same from Scots who hate the English yet come and work in England. It’s truly bizarre
Where’s your principles lads

I'm not sure if it's correct to say that a conference 'despises the English'.

Plaid Cymru's parliamentary leader is English and they have many English born members.

I'm not a member btw.

Dai Davies is the only one in my lifetime, I think; Pembridge and Horne may have had some Welsh, but Davies was the only one who had Welsh as his first language.

Southall says he regarded it as a waste of time when he was at school, but changed his mind as he got older.

Ratcliffe, Speed and Vernon were all from fairly anglicised parts of Flintshire so I doubt if they had much Welsh.

Dia Davies used to commentate in Welsh on scorgio or ch4 Wales (one the Welsh channels anyway)

I have some vague memory of Barry Horne being able to speak Welsh, but I might have imagined it.
