We went to this the day afyer (18yrs today)

How very twee we were after drinking our own body weights in Belgian beers.

cracking venue

Remember getting bladdered all day on Leffe with you outside a cafe mate and then meeting them young Liege fans in a bar afterwards.

Made our way to the stadium and despite us both having tickets the bastards wouldn't let us in the gate we were supposed to go in and we had to scramble as the last ones through another gate before they shut that too.

Going to Belgium and drinking Jupiler is like going to the Playboy Mansion and shagging Bella Emberg.

32 years ago today Durant and Ferguson were signed on loan

Looked at the line-ups for that before, Moyes put Yobo on for Neville at 1-2 down after 88 mins

That was one of my favourite ever trips. Got the train from lime street and went on the eurostar and the same return. 2 unbelievable nights of utter meffness in Brussels. Got an utterly meff coach to the Liege organised by a couple of Belgian blues we know. Just a laugh from start to finish. Highlight was the way home, though, when Peebs lost his return train ticket and they said the train was full so he had to pay on another train a couple of hours later. Being the mature adults we were we spent the journey home drinking/scouting the train for empty seats to send to him whilst he was fuming in a bar in Brussels by himself blaming everyone but himself for his woes.... hahaha.
