Buy a ticket for the train lads and avoid the £55 fine. Loads getting done the last couple of games.
Lad in front of me (I heard him say to one of the staff "where can I buy a ticket?) as we walked down the ramp and he was pointed in the direction of the fellas issuing the fines. I told him what was about to happen and he fooked off back up to the platform to go back to Kirkdale to buy a ticket!

How do they even check now with that tap and go thing? Do they scan the card you’ve used or something?

They have all the scanners covered up apart from one at the exit. They have a fella there that watches you scan.
At the utd game they were telling everyone that the scanners were out of order! They weren't. It was just so they could check that you'd paid.
