Picked up five of them cheap from Vinted, starting with the obvious one tonight.

I went through a copy of The Da Vinci code in one day when I was off sick.
It was ideal for that kind of setting, and was helped by the fact that I am fond of the Christ conspiracy thing
Terrible writing though. Full of that annoying thing where people bring up extensive stories and biographies to other people in conversation - as you do when racing across a city - to give the semblance of some plot and narrative drive

cracking, if somewhat unbelievable plot lines.

Quite badly written.

Da Vinci and Angles & Demons are probably worth the effort, the others not so much.

I thought the Da Vinci code was good fun. I quite like a daft globetrotting treasure hunt based on a ludicrous premise, like Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

Very very poor. I enjoy a lot of pulp fiction but having read the first one as a gift never again.

I left without a job to go to due to management wankers making work shite, so actually have an extra couple of weeks of holiday before I bother my arse with some supply work.

One word my friend - SEN. Why anyone works in mainstream these days I'll never know. Most schools run by egotistical dickheads ( I deal with quite a few where I live )with unreasonable workloads/ expectations and a seemingly ever increasing number of kids, and parents who couldn't give a fook.
As a bloke with your experience you'd piss your way into a special school. And if you think you'd miss teaching your subject at a high level then just do tuition on the side, you'll have plenty of time.

Fucking hell, story of my life for about half a decade or more. I hope it works out for you mate and good luck with it. I had a fucking horrific time about a decade back with some utter lying cunts.

My advice, take it or leave it, when you find somewhere that suits you, ie where the bosses aren't total gobshites (a few places do still exist) stay put. I wish I had.
