They’re right to do so tbf, they are trying their best in their own time to create a positive atmosphere within the club, and the owners, board, etc have actively worked in the opposite direction so can understand why they’d feel what’s the fucking point putting all that time and effort in for the club to destroy any positive vibes with their negligence.

Er..asset stripping? I'm not sure you've quite got a handle on what that is. The only asset they really have is the ground. That's the only thing that generates revenue and doesn't depreciate. The players have a little value in them here and there but cost a fortune to run and are unpredictable.

They've sold a player mate and then his employees fucked up a bit under apparently some tough circumstances

Flipping is the term rather than asset-stripping: they got the club on the cheap, and will milk the stadium for cash and then sell it on when the price is right.

The window is cock-up rather than conspiracy: the Friedkins don't want their asset devalued by relegation any more than we do.

This. To get the top dollar from any future 'investors' the club will have to be self sufficient, somewhat successful and paying dividends to shareholders, then they can name their price.

If they're interested in asset stripping they're really no good at it.

I'd say they are looking at cash flow and revenue raising more than anything. I'm fairly certain most of these 'wealthy' American hucksters just live off credit lines.

Apparently they pissed a lot of money away at Roma too, but nobody accused them of being skinflints just that they aren't football folk and we're 'chaotic'.

For a united reaction to people being fleeced in the ground. Ticket prices - I'm guilty on this one as I got tickets for Palace and now Ipswich in the ballot - £72 each for nothing special (I'll only attend half a dozen home games, hence sucking it up). Failure to buy a striker and class right back.
As people have posted, it would take some organising and it would have to start somewhere. 1878's might be an initial focal point. I think more importantly, the owners need to understand they can't walk all over the fans or the club.

The 1878s are largely the same loudmouths and bullies who ran the Blue Union, and they were largely despised or just ignored by the vast majority of match-going blues.

Go. Don't go. They don't care. The seats will be filled, the TV money will roll in and the buttons lost through food sales wouldn't pay one player's salary.

Modern football is shite. From domination of a small group of clubs, to us being priced out, the ships have sailed. People can either stay on or get off, but they won't notice either way.
