I’m not sure how this will carry on now.

I’m not Moyes biggest fan but it must be very frustrating to have someone be in charge of player recruitment and then leave him so short with his squad after a whole summer of being able to get stuff done.

What are Kinnear’s credentials anyway? Wasn’t he supposed involved in trying to sue Everton when we had the points deduction? This was after Leeds got relegated.

It’s a shambles and Kinnear needs fucking off.

It's plausible that they all had a hand in something going wrong there. It's plausible that the owners had fuck all to do with that, and it's also plausible that something unforeseen went very badly wrong in the last few hours.

Nobody on here knows. People just venting because it was a shit end to what started as a reasonably positive transfer window

Well where do I start? Maybe if he'd got his finger out to qualify for Europe last season then the transfer team would've been in a better position right from the start.

One thing follows from another, why do people have to take everything in isolation. Everyone in a senior decision making role at the club has a part to play in its failures.

As I've said the end of the season was fucking shit, really shit but it was reminiscent of when we had arguably the best manager of all time and it petered out in a similar fashion and ended in disappointment.

I don't know how far it went in to stopping Armstrong leaving.

If we had got a new manager I reckon they would have been briefed about the financial realities and we could have lost him. That is conjecture like.

I didn't want Moyes back, preferably we would have kept Dyche till the end of the season and gone with someone new. I also didn't want him immediately sacked though as I don't think that would have helped.

He has his good and bad qualities. We are obviously not where most of us thought we were financially at the end of last season.

The end of last season was shit, proper shit. So reminiscent of Carlo's though being a strong position and then falling away due to lack of a squad.

His next press conference will be interesting but I don't think him walking now with a cob on would be good for anyone.

I have no idea about our finances, the restructure of it that has taken place, the cost of the stadium weighing heavy etc... I don't know if we will be in a better position next summer.

To be fair most were enjoying kinnears recent interview about the direction of the club etc... it just was seemingly bullshit.

Hopefully Kinnear will shut the fuck up, disappear into the background (before quietly exiting the club) leaving Moyes to crack on and start using the squad properly. Hopefully start giving more minutes to Alvarez and Dibling, Norgaard gets fit and available soon and George/Johnson can start playing up front as cover for Barry and offer something different.

How is he to blame for our financial difficulties which have seen us trying to sell starting players hours before a game. Unable to sign players till we get players out the door.

No one is blameless but the issue doesn't lie with manager here. Why wouldn't he want players? He's said it for about two years.

Expectations on what we can achieve should be tempered. We have been shite for 10 plus years plugging away at the wrong end of the table. We've even had one of the best managers ever in that period and he didn't pull up any trees.

Yup, I’ve been very vocal in criticising Moyes and wanting him binned in the summer, but after the shit show yesterday I’m glad somebody with some longstanding connection to the club is in charge as these owners and their yes men either don’t give a fuck or are completely inept or both, and if they’d have replaced him it would have been with an ultimate yes man who’d have also seen Armstrong sold as well as the others. Thank god Ornstein leaked it in the press before the Bournemouth game.

Is it clear where the revenue for stadium related events goes to? When Ashley was the owner for us, online kit purchases went through a website called nufcdirect, which I'm convinced was directly linked to his shit direct empire, and not the club. He also never paid for stadium advertising for his tatty brand, which clearly benefited his personal business interests.

I'm wondering if these American's are doing a similar thing. Keep the club in the PL whilst siphoning millions out on the side by diverting revenue or charging the club for services.

Do we even have an overdraft facility for short term working capital needs?

Could have drawn down on it in July and repaid it in September.

The more I think about it we’ve just been very amateurish across most of the window.

kinnear said soemthing like "70% of the transfer business is done in the last two weeks".

which clearly indicates selling to buy. the later it starts, the more frantic it gets. the deals still happen, just in a far shorter timescale.

so why not get ahead of it - TFG can call on all kinds of credit facilities. 50m for a couple of months should be "back of the couch" money for them.

Maybe they are holding back this summer after we spent £70m on Barry and Dibling last summer.
