Anyone had an email from Manchester Airport ?

Posted by santo_1878 User icon on August 27, 2026, 11:54 am

Regarding a cyber security incident involving customer data?

I'm a bit of a dinosaur at identifying truth from lies with emails and stuff so just wondered if its likely to be a scam? I haven't opened it like.

I've had one about a data breach, which said email addresses and car registrations were accessed. They say all is OK, but be careful about any future calls, texts or emails claiming to be from them.

Got the same thing and we booked airport parking earlier this year.

I think they are saying there has been a data leak and they have sorted it and nobodies details have been compromised.
