Armstrong miles

Brilliant again from him last night he's going to be a top player, seems to be everywhere, reads the game so well, if he can get his scoring boots on the skys the limit for him.

Possibly the best midfielder through the ranks since Billy Kenny who I reckon would have been world class

I loved how, when we made our subs, he just effortlessly stepped into the no 6 role and started dictaing play. He'll be world class in a few years. I only hope we get to see his best years in a blue shirt.

He has improved 'ten fold' with a full pre season with the first team under his belt, where he has probably felt he was 'part' of the big picture at Everton, and not some 'also ran' 21's player, there to make up the numbers, and stand in when injuries and suspensions 'hit hard'.

He has stepped up to the plate 'very impressively' this season. He looks a lad brimming with confidence. Long may it continue!

He was sublime at times last night. I hate to go OTT o young players because it rarely turns out well but the lad's looking great at the moment.

The son (Leo Shahar - Newcastle) of my veterans team mate played with Armstrong throughout the England youth setup. My mate says that Armstrong stood out by a mile at that level and he could tell that he was going to be a top player.

Completely OTT comparison here but he has Declan Rice type similarities in the way he plays

As I have posted on here before - a couple of years we played a youth cup game and won easily and he then went out on loan before the next round game which we lost.
Totally different team without him.

Preston's season last year was the same, I work with a season ticket holder and he was raving about him, gutted when he left at Christmas, he's ridiculously good for his age, he's still a skinny kid as well going to be a monster when he fills out

He looks the 40m player rather than Dibling. That’s a nod to Armstrong rather than a dig at Dibling who i think looked stronger and more positive last night. I don’t think he’s a winger.

Calm down, Nosferatu!

No limit for this lad. He is sensational. And 19.

Out of any current player, the club need to keep hold of him at all costs.

It’s obviously not a given, but you could see him becoming world class.

One of things that stands out for me is he always seems to be in control, never flustered, very smooth, and always seems to make himself half a yard. Technically he looks superb to me. Very graceful.

We're going to lose him aren't we...🫩

It keeps surprising me just how quickly he covers ground when he's in his stride - it never looks like he's busting a gut but he just eats the ground up with his loping stride

As well as being a brilliant footballer technically, he’s a really good athlete and a great football brain especially for his age.
