I really dont know what to make of Dibling.

Always looks like he is in 2nd gear. Never looks fully committed, or a lad really trying to impose himself or impress his manager or the Everton fans.I

Is he 'home sick' I wonder?

He did ok I thought

He’s young and showing signs of improvement. Still plenty of time for him and deffo can’t judge him till the end of the season.

Probably needs to be loaned out. It’s going to take injuries and suspensions for him to start, and he never looks likely to make an impact coming on as sub.

He’s making the managers job easy. Great opportunity against a championship team and he blew it.

He needs to run at players, he needs to get fear into full backs. Honestly just think he needs a run in the team.and to feel like he belongs in the team.

He will.come good he has all the attributes.

I didn’t watch any of the pre season where I heard eh was pretty lively, however, based on tonight I didn’t see enough.

Johnson looks far more up to it because he is willing to run in behind.

Dibling got the ball to feet a lot, then dwelled on it a bit before passing backwards. It would have been nice to see him be a bit more direct and go at the full back down the wing. Maybe that’s just not his game, but I thought he was that sort of player.

A telling moment came when Ndiaye had drifted over towards the centre, then followed the ball over to the right and worked his bollocks off chasing down the left back while Dibling was stood 5 yards from him.

Really hope he comes good, it would be a shame all round if we can’t make him a success at our place.

On the positive, George also looked so lively when he came on (as well as Anzou). Couple of options there on the wings along with Johnson now.

I’ll give him the season to show more of what he’s got. He’s gonna be an impact player for this season at least.

He's shite, too slow, too lightweight and suspect mentality. He'll never be a player

Johnson has done more in 5 minutes.

I really don't know what to think of him. Never looks like any energy about him, almost looks as if he's sulking but I just think that's his natural way. The thing that confuses me the most is he looked quite quick at Southampton and from what he's shown so far, he's Tobias Linderoth levels of slow.

Small steps and all that, going to be a gradual build with the lad i reckon so tonight is a small tick in the positive column.

There’s definitely a player in there
