In for Branthwaite, Hackney and George

Branthwaite is injured. So maybe O'Brien is being rested for the weekend.

TBF 10 of the 11 are spot on, and nobody really knows what's happening behind the scenes here

Michael Keane still playing games 10 years after first signing will never not baffle my brain. No wonder we’ve been utter gash for so long when we’re keeping shite like him at the club for 10 years.

Keane over O'Brien. That's just a bit weird really.

O’Brien is on the bench so Rohl can have a rest from 60 mins; he will come on at right back. Alternatively Rohl will move into midfield for Garner due to him being recently back and O’Brien will come on at rb. That will be his thinking.

I don't think we will see Big Jake in an Everton shirt again.

If he was going he wouldn't be on the bench

Grealish has featured for Man City this season. From the bench.

O'Brien wants to leave, why is it weird?

Re: Keane, Garner and Dibling

Posted by betosneck User icon on August 26, 2026, 7:27 pm, in reply to "Re: Keane, Garner and Dibling"

Because it is. If you aren't going to pick him then call up anyouth player to the bench and leave him at home.

The only logical explanation is that it's a final chance to get Keane in the window

This will sound like a piss take, but my mate goes to the games with Garner and O’Brien’s barber, so he told us before.

His barbering skills leave a lot to be desired when it comes to Garner though, twat of a barnet.

Just shows what a stubborn, vindictive prick Moyes really is, prefers to use the most useless pairing available to him, allied with his unpleasant bullying of probably the most popular Everton journo out there has probably shifted me to being in the "fuck the stubborn twat off" camp.
Would still expect to win tonight, but he has publicly shifted JO'B into 4th choice behind the hapless Keane.

Agree he should be well ahead of Keane.

Interesting to see how this plays out as it looks late in the window to ship JOB out now and get an adequate replacement/improvement. God help us if Keane becomes a regular again. Moyes will be cutting his own throat.
