And Beto: we’re open to selling both according to the Boyland chap.

Madness if true

Remarkably stupid stuff this if true.

Tarkowski's average and was often 5/10 last season. Hardly ever injured so his legs are likely to give way just as O'Brien's hitting his peak as a centre half.

An absolute arsehole of a club at times.

Making Tarkowski captain has made him virtually undroppable.

Pipe down, Spreadsheets.

Seems mad to sell JOB given Keane and Tarky will both need replacing in a year or two and him having his best years ahead of him. There’s no way he should have been 4th choice cb last season though, he should have played those games Branthwaite was out for, and I can understand if he’s frustrated and wants a move for a first team spot.

Beto maybe no way Obrien is being sold.

A lovely fella thinks we are going down if we stick with Moyes.

Can't blame him if he wants to go. He's seen the path is blocked. But, and it's a big but, Branthwaite can breakdown at any point. His chance may come. But it could be as simple as the agent flushing out a deal for him

I’d like O’Brien to be given a run in the team at centre back.

Selling him is very odd to say the least.

If Branthwaite misses a few games, we are in deep trouble.

Bizarre that on the O'Brien front

Probably from the players side that, I’d think.

He won’t start ahead of Branthwaite or Tarkowski, but it should be obvious he starts ahead of Keane.

It would be weird if that was something he couldn’t get a clear idea on, i must say.

I don’t think him and JB have been given enough game time together.

Picking Tarkowski as the number 1 CB is a brave shout considering his form / pace etc has fallen off a cliff.

should have been looking to move him on in the summer, not giving him a new contract. 34 in a couple of months

why are you so argumentative? this is obvious stuff

We would need to replace him if he went, can't go all season with 3 centre halves and one of them being Branthwaite.

Big Chrissy Norgaard in the 4th centre back utility role.

I've literally just said in a WhatsApp group that j can't see how we can play Norgard, Hackney, Armstrong, KDH, George and NDiaye in the same team.

You've just solved the problem.

Would undo all the good work strengthening the midfield.

Tarkowski to get injured or suspended at some point too is hardly unlikely

Or cost us dearly, he set up that first palace chance after four mins. But for Pickford we’re one down
