Salt and Tar

Went last night to see Nile Rogers who gave his usual fantastic performance.

Although the event was very well run & the staff were fantastic, I couldn’t help thinking that this size of concert would be perfect for the Plaza in front of the stadium.

Open the East Stand up & you have good toilet facilities and food outlets. I’m sure the powers that be must be thinking the same?

I thought they'd use the West stand on the river side.
Stage on the island, tiered seating/standing on the concrete steps and bars open selling ale etc.

Thommossocks is innocent

Never thought I'd see Nile Rogers performing at the back of the Strand, I never went but fantastic for the area . That area's been, criminally let rundown for years by local councillors. It used be great for a bevy in the 80's, 90's.

Went to a shareholders meeting the other week with Andrew Middleton from Everton doing a presentation. He said there are definitely concerts booked for next summer but couldn't go into details. That's why the Rugby League weekend has been moved to early May because the stadium is booked. He didn't specify if it was the stadium or the Plaza or both.

It’s been designed exactly for that. Sure I read it can take 17,000.

“If this Iranians got the ####ing dough that he claims we have, we want ####ing Mourinho lad and if not Mourinho we want ####ing Pellegrini right. Everton aren’t we ey, EVERTON ARENT WE!?”

Said the same about on the waterfront, the plaza would be perfect and wouldn’t need to have pier head closed off.

Calm down, Nosferatu!

That is something they are supposed to be doing.

Off subject slightly but anyone know why this never happened.

Would have been good for Bootle even it was only about 1,000 going there before or after games.
