Part of the England coaching team.
The BBC's quest to make sure we get regular Liverpool updates name checked him in an article about a Norwegian player who was released from Liverpool's academy 12 years ago.
Apparantly Barry was also released by them as well as an Iraqi player. Think it was Al Alhamadi.

Apologies. I was wrongly informed by their propganda.

"Aasgaard is one of three players at the tournament who once played for Liverpool schoolboys, the others being England's Anthony Gordon and Ipswich striker Ali Al-Hamadi, who is in the Iraq squad. Another alumnus is Anthony Barry, who is part of the England coaching team."

Not sure if it was nerves as I would imagine he doesn't do many interviews but that was a load of buzzword shite
