Ale

Posted by Captain Jack User icon on June 14, 2026, 11:00 pm

Watching tonight's match, I've seen people drinking bottles (a can that looks like a bottle) of Bud, and cans of Stella in their seats.

I know they did ale in your seat for Everton women last season so how long before it comes to the men's game?

Fuck knows we could do with it watching Moyes' Everton.

That's what I was getting at really. You can buy alcohol everywhere these days. Morning, noon and night.

The money men (especially the thieving cunts at HDS) will be thinking they're missing a trick.

The yanks have it sussed. Went to a baseball game and a "beerboy" wanders up and down the isles selling the ale. You pass the dollars across your row (without moving) and the ale AND your change gets passed back.

NO WAY WOULD YOU GET YOUR CHANGE BACK IN THIS COUNTRY or probably your ale for that matter

Yup. England doesn't do drinking in crowds very well at all. The yanks and europeans will go to a game and have a few beers at the game and then fuck off home. The English have been know to meet at 11am, get tanked up, and then would continue right through the game. Those 3-4 extras are enough to cause murder with some of the idiots that follow football

There's far more football violence in Europe and the America's than in England.
