No - it's not as good as that. Iran never had any control of the Straits of Hormuz before - but now they do (they expect to charge $2m for each ship coming through as reparations for the damage done in the last month).
Iran's 10 point plan also demands the US leave the Middle East altogether and remove all sanctions.

If this goes forward it will be a massive win for Iran.

I think that's a by-product.
He's fucked this up massively, panicked and figuratively and literally shit himself, but it is to the surprise of no one that he's desperately trying to paint it as a victory.

The fact he and his mates are pocketing a bit of cash from it is probably largely incidental. He saw this going very differently, not spending nearly a month bogged down in something he didn't understand beyond "bomb stuff", spending a trillion dollars, his support tanking, oil prices going through the stratosphere, his allies openly calling him a cunt and bodybags starting to come home.
And for what? First time in his life he was facing consequences and predictably ran away whilst loudly saying he wasn't.

Unfathomably, Iran is now seen more positively and is far stronger than four weeks ago despite having the shite bombed out of it. Their concessions were what? Reopen a strait that was open anyway before the US got involved. Most of the surrounding states thinking twice before supporting or facilitating US attacks again. Israel totally sidelined and not even at the ceasefire talks.

Meanwhile, China wins the bigger game by simply being nothing to do with it and not lifting a finger.
