Me, an infra red wildlife camera. I’ve seen deer a couple times on my walk from Kirkby, and want to try and catch them on film.
A ticket for the ‘Spy who came in from the cold ‘ play in the Everyman.
The End. A book by that Buckland feller, about us from the mid 80s to the early 90s. Reckon it’ll be depressing.

Someone in work has leant me a copy of The End.
TBH I'm not sure how I'm going to get around to reading it.
I still have yet to stomach watching Howards Way and that's like Toy Story in comparison to what follows

I got myself a simple acoustic a couple of months ago.
Tried to learn guitar in school and was hopeless at it.
Determined to try again, but it could be yet another phase.

With youtube, it has become much easier to learn to play, for beginners. There are hundreds of lessons available on there.

I’ve a cousin who’s a guitar tutor.
I had him pulling his hair out of his head with me.
I almost mastered the basic version of ‘Horse with no name’ years ago.

Probably my last trip there, my son's got himself a new job in china. The climate is much like ours, so I'll miss the Vietnam heat.

Ditto. I was looking for a pair of Merrell Moab to replace my old pair, the most comfortable walking shoes I've ever owned. Amazon said they only had one pair left, with no laces and a small scuff on one side for £50 (should be £135). Took a chance and they arrived comlete with laces and no scuff visible. Which was nice.

Set one up a couple of years ago, on the route I’m talking about.
Captured a fox, which I was made up about, and then about five hours of a gang of young lads sat drinking and smoking suspiciously large home made cigarettes.
They didn’t spot the camera, obviously.

I’ve done worse with one of these.
Bought my first one years ago, and set it up on the bird table stand in my back garden.
I had clothes on the washing line, and it was quite breezy.
A few days later, I’m on my laptop thing watching hours of towels and t-shirts moving around.
I thought I’d had all sort of feathered visitors in the garden.

I used to chuck a load of bait off the decking to attach badgers…

Saw them quite a lot but had to stop when the rats started out numbering the badgers quite a lot….

Another time I fixed a camera to the leg of my bird table, to try and find out why it kept falling over, even in non windy conditions.
I’d fixed a baffler, I think it’s called, to stop squirrels from climbing up to the table and eating all the bird food.
Checked the camera after another table fall incident. This squirrel took a run and jump to get to the top table, and knocked it over, to get at the seeds.
Think a furry Christopher Reeve without the cape.
All on camera!
Couldnt help laughing.

I didn't get myself anything but her parents got me a dartboard, surround and a light, buzzing with it, used to practice 5 hours a day and was pretty decent, could easily average over 80.

Haven't played for years, had a go for a couple of hours and now I'm proper average at best!!

Can nail a 180 but then hit a 21 followed by a 32, darts flying everywhere.

Hopefully I'll get some practice in and get half decent again, although I don't hold out much hope 😂
