Just going through a box with various odd notes from different countries. Thought my 100 zloty note was £20. But, they changed the currency in 1995. It’s worth half a penny.

You sure? Went to Gdansk/Sopot well after that. Mate from Sopot was our guide etc. We were giving her 100 szloty every day for food/ale and we couldn't spend it. Thought it was £20 at the time. 10 years ago, or so

All the zeroes were taken off in about 1995 - when I first came over it was about half a million to the pound. Ten years ago it would have been about 5 or 6 to the pound. Today it's less than five.
