In a later statement, police suggested that the Liverpool star had been speeding at the time of the accident, with evidence indicating that the vehicle he was driving "significantly exceeded" the speed limit for the road (120kph/74mph) before crashing.

Reported at the time.

Surely there should be an official inquest and report tho?

Not trying to be horrible and it's dreadful that two young men have died this way, but if he was driving like a loon then it's hard to be overly sympathetic, unlike if they had died as a result of someone else's actions.
