Although the drummer in my mates band when told it was the longest day of the year one June, remarked in a confused manner “how you working that out if they’ve all got 24 hours?!???”….

love it towards the end of jan - on a bright day its still light at 5pm and you start looking forward to spring in a good way.

Thats why I prefer January to November- winter is nearly cracked by the end of January isn’t it. First snowdrops and all that..

Been hard work this year being so cloudy.
Summer is ace like, never gets fully dark and it's like everyone comes out of hibernation and makes the most of it.
