1. Some decent attacking approach play, but typically, going two down and no real reaction until very late in the game. It was almost a bog standard Moyes away performance at the SKY 6.
2. A massive difference in quality in the final third. We totally fucked our opportunities and never worked their keeper once.
3. Constant niggly fouls not properly punished by the ref, ditto several obvious displays of dissent.
4. That chance for Barry which went through his legs, very similar to the one Beto fluffed at the thrashing we had there a few seasons ago.
5. Away support, as ever, was exceptional.

Full backs are killing us. Both awful.

Barry is utter utter shit. The rest is ok. Although assume KDH hamstring could be costly.

Moyes got it badly wrong not starting Alcaraz as well, not that it cost us today but fuck me he has a huge blind spot there. He’s in our best eleven. Easy.

Moyes is probably more worried about him doing something like the back pass that they nearly scored from than what he gives going forward.

Agree. I'd be playing Alcaraz and Beto and bringing on Barry as a sub if needed.

We have been spoiled by Baines, Coleman and Digne. There are few fullbacks who live up to them.

I don’t think the current two are even premier league level. Like O’Brien he’s a good centre back but he looked shot to bits today. The one on the other side his usual self. One decent moment and loads of shit.

He defo has a bit of the John Oster about him in that he will continue to try things unabashedly until the penny drops that the crowd’s heads are getting done is with him and then his confidence will be shot
Hopefully he can strike the right balance
