It's as much the amount of fecking tanks that pass as cars these days, that cause the problem. Like staring up at a lighthouse bulb.

Haha, joke isn’t it. Road deaths per year have fallen significantly since 1990, and continue to fall since 2010, despite there being far more traffic on the roads.

Stinks of people desperate to complain about anything and everything. It’s f**king exhausting.

I drive on country roads at night, and those halogen lamps on high fronted vehicles are absolutely a fucking danger.

Top tip: those yellow sunglasses help to cut the glare without making everything else dark. They make you look a bit like Ali G, but it’s worth it for the better visibility.

Good. Its a nightmare and completely unnecessary. Trimmed with higher cars it makes driving at night impossible. I drove home from Cornwall at night recently and on small roads with oncoming traffic I spent more time looking at me satnav to see what the road was going to do next than out of the window.

Shocking accident on the M6 Sunday night, some poor soul killed by another driver heading North in the wrong direction, how the fuck that is possible is beyond me.

Went past there yesterday about midday. M6 southbound was still closed.

We were heading North and there was still severe delays as they'd opened up all 3 lanes but hadn't taken the "lanes closed" signs down.

I swerved the match on Sunday and would.habe got caught in that coming home, blessing in disguise for many reasons not going.

Also rear indicators on some of those vauxhall suvs there so small you can hardly see them

Nothing will change though. It's not like they are gonna force people to spend a small fortune downgrading lights.

At most they will do a little bit of enforcement on already illegal retrofitted bulbs.

I was talking about this with a mate the other week. It's annoying when they're too bright, but not many people are going to think to change them from whatever is fitted originally.

they could put light filter strips over the headlights that would be a quick fix, until they started changing the bulbs in new cars
