Crewe V Grimsby 5 goal thriller

First time at Gresty Road for me.

1. Good support for the away team, unbearably so when they went a goal up.
2. Action packed first half when a Distin style back pass brought Crewe back into it, they then took the lead shortly after, before the away team levelled just on HT (2-2).
3. Great footy for the Crewe winner on about 80 minutes, lots of wacky songs and bantz with the away fans at the end.
4. The British Lion pub. Away fans only before kick off, which was fine, when it was locals at 6pm, it was a touch different let's say.
5. Chicken Balti pie - 6.7456/10, balti my arse.

Was in that pub one Sunday when the trains were broken on way back from Blackpool. 15 of us. Was a guy sat being a proper bookie odds on everything all handwritten on paper lol . Was a few Crewe lads in there , before long they got their mates , dads etc out . We had absolute brilliant afternoon and they were just getting us all places to stay at various lads houses when the trains starred working again . Great gesture from a great bunch of lads

Got in-laws from Grimsby/Cleethorpes. Seem a decent lot. Would love an away day there. Crewe less so.
