Quite excited for tomorrow: I've avoided even seeing the Bernaboo up close, so I can get the full effect tomorrow as I arrive in freshly ironed booing slacks.

Anyone else seeing it for the first time tomorrow?

Got it all together and I'm ready to seethe.

It looks ace, both closeup when we looked through the gates when it was being built to seeing all the drone footage and tv stuff.

We should quit moaning, be thankful we weren’t relegated and be positive like that other shower.

Positivity breeds success after all.

As for me I have just had a much needed shower after work, had a few rums/gin/red wines and eagerly awaiting to hopefully watch it on the snide here in NZ at 1am

Same.
I wanted the first experience to be full Everton. An excited early season optimism, enhanced with a new ground only to be miserable after Brighton win 3-1 and to then spend the rest of the evening moaning about having no right hand side.

I did feel like I was at an away game.

Even not having the usual faces around us was weird. That was the bit that made me uncomfortable.

I went on site just as they got started (before they started filling the docks or looking for unexploded shells etc and then once more Jan 24 when the seats were in but none of the interior stuff like bars and restaurants had been done. I missed all the test events so looking forward to today but a bit apprehensive about the new routine.

Only seen it when it was getting built from the train and not been past it in a long time.

Excited to see the ground, not so much at the thought of moyes exciting football

Not looking forward to getting my 80 year old dad home after on public transport either

Purposefully avoided all test events and wanted my first game to be a proper league game.

First time for me too. I’m very excited (I’m 52). As well as seeing the ground, I’m absolutely buzzing to see an extra 15k plus blues in and around town.

The city’s all ours, fuck off to Norway etc etc.

Drove from Crosby to town yesterday and it was the first time I saw the hill didckinson branding. I feel it's totally missing any form of everton badge branding on the steel architecture that can be seen from a distance

Nah, the huge crests either end of the brick facade are sufficient, it would look weird with extra badges adorning the barrell roof, less is more otherwise you're turning it into a structural version of badgeman. The stadium name sign is what it is, there to generate extra money for the club.

Sad in a way to see how opinionated and entitled people have become in this day and age.
Everton somehow manage to build a magnificent new stadium in dark economic times yet people still find it within themselves to moan about the font or size of the sponsor’s name on the building.

It’s unreal I love it. At the Bolton test event I half got emotional looking out at the Liver Buildings/ferry on the Mersey thinking about the journey the club had been on in regards to the new stadium Kirkby x2 Wally Hall park, Gillmoss…Cronton! To get it where it is beyond what most fans ever thought I think.

But you can still have the odd minor gripe surely without it coming across as a misery arse? It’s purely a cosmetic thing aswell, just wish they put our name on it more visible, it’s not a deal breaker or anything.

I went past on the train yesterday. I went test 1 and 2, but what I don’t like now is how the stadium name is absolutely massive. But you have to really look to see the Everton badges. Hopefully something changes over time and it starts to look Everton. I know it’s about money and new but it’s something that struck me yesterday.

I agree mate. Think the badges they put up are quite big when your there in the flesh but when see the stadium at full scale they barely stand out. It looks like Hill Dickinson FC. The sponsor obviously paying to be on it etc but to not have our name on it anywhere near as visible is a bit disappointing.

I get that the signage is small, especially when you compare it to Goodison, but everyone knows whose stadium it is Chris. Especially the reds.

Needed at least one test event/pre-season to get your head around the logistics of getting there and back and the lay of the land. At the Roma game there were people doing a lap (including us), doing that elderly thing where you turn your whole body around looking confused and you need to give yourself plenty of time to get to your seat.

Said at that game I was looking forward to a night match there. Looking forward to Wednesday.
