see on the drone vids its all been laid out for parking -makes sense

if Everton buy it and develop it must be a natural location for a big multistory

We defo need massive parking facilities nearby. Getting to and from the game is far too difficult for some.

Couldn’t think of anything worse. Be scandalous if they filled in the dock itself for a car park, I’d rather they keep the water an bring it to life with bars, homes and food places etc and link it up to the park.

you misunderstood me - I agree with you - I wouldn't want the dock filled in either but a development on the dockside should incorporate parking

There’s plenty of parking on the other side of the dock wall if the council allow it

Just think it’s prime real estate that shouldn’t be wasted with stuff like that, our stadium finally bucking the trend of uninspiring shite clogging up our waterfront. Long may it continue.

not talking about the shite at Kings and Princes Dock - seen plenty of quality developments that have parking built in that can then serve the area

At this point I’ll have to admit I’m a walkable/15 minute city nerd so maybe I’m being a bit militant. I get what you’re saying as it being part of a wider decent development though.

Hoping one day we’ll be able to walk from the stadium to the Pier Head through Nelson Dock/Central Park/Clarence and Princess Dock etc

If Freidkin are buying Nelson they won’t fill the dock in. I’ve heard rumours they are wanting to buy the defunct temporary car park on kings dock as it’s demountable and move it there on a temp lease.
The other rumour I’ve heard is they want a potential basketball team now nba has opened their franchise up to Europe.

I can imagine there would be too much opposition to filling it in and like Albert Dock its the water that makes it interesting or it may as well be Milton Keynes

Makes financial sense but I'd be gutted if they fill another dock in. The stadium aesthetic is because of the reflections. Think there would be strong opppostion from Heritage groups too. I'm sure there's enough space to build a hotel, car park around it like Albert Dock (and ferry terminal, in case they're listening)
