This is all great, with regards to being in the ground.

There should be a massive, fuck off, EVERTON sign on the side of the ground facing the river.
Let any visitors know who’s city this is.
Actually, have massive speakers at the ground facing out and blast the sirens out when we come on the pitch.
When the city’s football club comes on the pitch, the whole city should know.

When the other shite come on the pitch, let them play the dirge on the loudspeakers. If the television doesn’t catch it, their fanbase won’t.

I like the way the new ground is subtle, dare I say classy for a football stadium.

Most look like Disney on acid.

We have a cool as fùck ground.

That said, maybe iy would look just as good with white seats in certain areas. Not sure.

As long as we don't themepark the outside (I don't think we can).

I get what your saying but subtle didn’t apply to the sponsor - no surprise- but it’s plastered all over it, I have been a nerd watching the updates of the stadium I think it’s mainly superb an couldn’t have asked for much more but I am a bit disappointed there’s not much “Everton” * to the finish tbh. The cynic in me is thinking it’s because they want to use it for other than a football stadium.

But not having our name or badge lit up on the riverside especially is criminal.

Yes, obviously they’re big when you’re there an on the ground you can see them fine, I mean if you look at an image/the drone footage of the stadium at full scale they don’t stand out at all like say the badges at Goodison did. It looks like Hill Dickinson FC. As a I say I love it just think they’ve missed a trick not having our name up on the side of that barrel roof.

The crests do stand out, they're fùcking huge. They'll stand out even more when it's dark. I don't get why we need a big "look it's Everton" signs everywhere. Everyone knows what it is.

I do think EVERTON FOOTBALL CLUB on the South Stand would be better than the sponsor. As most people will approach from the city. That's my only gripe.

Not to the scale of the whole stadium I don’t think they do, they’re transparent as well.

I agree with your last bit, It doesn’t have to be tacky but it is our stadium, not Hill Dickinson FC.

Couldn’t agree more mate. I think it’s sort of gone under the radar cause most of us are season ticket holders (an it being the first match) but individual normal adult match day tickets for tomorrow were £67 and upwards. A disgrace and I hope there’s a push back on it when the dust has settled. If we don’t it’ll only get worse.

Being STH we've accepted the new prices because they weren't that bad. (Let's see what happens next season) But the individual match day prices are ridiculous. The F&B (as the yanks say) prices are the most expensive in the league. Are we living in West London?

The price of ale and food in town is almost on a par with London tbh. We're fùcking idiots for paying it.

I'm in London Wednesday to Friday so will see how the prices compare!

I hope when the novelty wears off people vote with their feet in regards to the prices of everything, at the end of the day you’re going watch a football team not to have a donut. Other than a
Guinness at half time I’ll be drinking* and eating in the local independents outside the stadium like I did at Goodison.

I think that's it. I've never drank in the ground. Apart from the odd half time wine! Haven't eaten in the ground for years. Usually get to my seat just AFTER kick off.

I think I've been sucked in to this whole new way of watching Everton.
